The Gray & Silver collection is the largest color family at Laterem after white, with 261 porcelain and ceramic tiles covering everything from pale silver through warm greige to deep graphite. Materials include porcelain, glazed porcelain, unglazed porcelain, colored-body and red-body ceramic, and white-body ceramic. Surfaces run matte, satin, semi-matte, glossy, semi-glossy, polished, lappato, honed lappato and glimmer.

Large formats and small details

Large-format slabs are a particular strength here: 48x108 and 48x48 rectified porcelain in polished, matte, lappato and structured finishes, including Aquamarine Gray, Grand Cave Gray and Graphite, Zimba and Aulla. Smaller formats cover rectangular planks, squares, hexagon and elongated hexagon, chevron, strip, listello, mosaic and matching baseboards, so an entire room can be detailed in a single tone without switching supplier.

Stone, concrete and structured looks

Gray is where most of the stone-look and concrete-look ranges sit. Grand Cave reads as a veined natural stone, Aulla as poured concrete, and Zimba adds a structured relief that catches side light. Polished finishes lift and brighten a room and suit walls and low-traffic floors; matte and structured surfaces disguise traffic and give better grip underfoot.

Where to use gray tile

Filters cover floor and wall, bathroom, kitchen, backsplash, shower, commercial floor, pool, outdoor and step tiles, with price bands from under $200 to over $600 per box. Rectified large formats suit open-plan floors where minimal grout lines matter; matte and structured finishes are the safer choice for wet areas and outdoor use.

For higher contrast, pair with our black tile or white tile ranges, or soften the scheme with beige and cream tile and black and white tile.

Shop Gray and Silver Tile by Style

Gray is the neutral that most schemes are built on, and the concrete-look ranges in particular drive it. It is the dominant tone in modern tile, where large rectified formats and flat color do the work. It reads as poured concrete and steel in the harder-edged pieces, sits behind the walnut and flat-color pairings of mid century modern tile, grounds the earth tones of craftsman tile, and works as a restrained field in classic tile.
