Specchio Carrara is white porcelain carrying the soft gray veining people associate with Carrara marble. Each size comes in two faces, polished and satin, which makes six pieces in all: 24x24, 24x48 and 48x48. Because the same graphic runs through every format, you can lay 48x48 across an open floor, step down to 24x48 up a shower wall and use 24x24 where the cuts get awkward, and the whole thing still reads as one material.
Polished reflects, which pushes the gray veins forward and makes a tight bathroom feel brighter — it is also the more slippery of the pair once water is on it. Satin scatters light instead, keeps the white nearer a honed marble finish, and forgives water marks and dust on a floor. Splitting them, satin underfoot and polished on the walls, is a common way to get both. See more white tile, every porcelain tile we stock, or the rest of the marble look tile section.
