Blackwall runs in two colorways, black and gray, both as lappato porcelain in 24x24 and 24x48. Lappato is a partial polish: the face is buffed in patches, so it catches light without the mirror glare of a fully polished tile and it takes scuffing better on a floor. Veining here is pale against a dark ground, which reads as contrast rather than as pattern once you step back from it. There is also a 12x10 wall mosaic that sets the black porcelain against polished copper inserts, sized for a backsplash run or a shower niche.
Dark floors show dust and bare footprints faster than pale ones, so most people put Blackwall somewhere it earns the attention: a shower wall, a powder room floor, a fireplace surround, the back panel of an island. The 24x48 keeps joints sparse over a bigger area. Compare it against the rest of our black tile and our gray and silver tile, or step back to the full marble look tile section.
